Nearby commercial nodes along Collier Boulevard and San Marco Road provide groceries, casual dining, and services; downtown Naples and its higher-end shopping/dining are a 20–30 minute drive north.
Most guests use a car, rideshare (Uber/Lyft) or local shuttle/taxi for airport transfers and off-island trips. The island itself is compact and bike- and walk-friendly for short trips, but many visitors prefer a car for groceries, beaches and sightseeing. Marco Island Executive Airport serves private and charter flights; commercial flights arrive at Southwest Florida International (RSW) or Naples Municipal (APF—limited service). Organized local shuttles, private car services and rental cars are common. Public transit is minimal—no regular passenger rail service to the island.
